• [ ] Follow the standard essay structure: introduction, main body, and conclusion.

  In the introduction

  • [ ] Briefly describe the debate
  • [ ] Define key terms (if necessary)
  • [ ] State the position you are taking in the argument and briefly explain how you will argue your case

  In the main body

  • [ ] discuss each of the points you outlined in the introduction, making sure to connect each paragraph back to your argument and the essay question.

  In the conclusion
