In the introduction
- [ ] Briefly describe the debate
- [ ] Define key terms (if necessary)
- [ ] State the position you are taking in the argument and briefly explain how you will argue your case
In the main body
- [ ] discuss each of the points you outlined in the introduction, making sure to connect each paragraph back to your argument and the essay question.
In the conclusion
- [ ] Provide a summary of what you have argued in your essay
- [ ] Mention the limitations or gaps in the current literature (if appropriate).
